Download Thread as a TXT file Hack by Logician

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS for vb.3.5.x
(This hack is coded for vb version 3.5.0 Gold and later. Works also with 3.5.0 RC3. Not tested with versions prior to RC3!)

STEP 1- Upload file "dt.php" into vbulletin main folder (where 'showthread.php' is)

STEP 2- via Admin CP/styles manager find and edit template named "SHOWTHREAD" and find:

And AFTER THAT add:

(If you have more than 1 template sets, repeat this step in all)


STEP 3- Login to admin cp, select
Pluggin Manager / Manage Products / Add-Import Products / EITHER upload the XML file from your computer and upload "product-lh_downloadthread.xml" as a product.
(Important : it is PRODUCT, not plugin!)

(To do this, you have to have vb options/Pluggin-Hook System/Enable Plugin/Hook System option => set as "YES")

Make sure the the product "Download Thread as TXT file Hack by Logician" is active. Now you can find download thread link in thread display pages in the pop menu named "Thread Tools".

Remember to "Click Install" if you installed the hack:

Проверено - работает...
Скрестили 4.х и 3.5.х

В файле dl.php надо заменить строку

header("Content-disposition: attachment;filename=$filename.txt");

на

header("Content-disposition: attachment;filename='$filename'.txt");

Иначе хром будет ругаться с ошибкой

net::ERR_RESPONSE_HEADERS_MULTIPLE_CONTENT_DISPOSITION
